AZSHRM 2020 State Conference Update

Arizona Human Resource Community,

Every year HR professionals look forward to the Arizona SHRM State Conference. We embrace the opportunity to network, meet our fellow HR partners, participate in educational sessions, hear from dynamic keynote speakers, and acknowledge outstanding individuals in the HR field.

The 2020 State Conference Team, along with the Arizona SHRM State Council have had many discussions and reviewed the survey results received regarding this year’s conference. Everyone agreed that the highest priority is YOU, the Arizona HR community. Since we continue to adjust to social distancing and live with the uncertainty of COVID-19, it is not feasible to plan an in-person conference at this time, where we have well over 1,000 attendees.

Therefore, to make certain that a safe and healthy environment is available for all to meet, the decision has been made to move to an all virtual conference for 2020.

What better way to align with this year’s theme of Arizona SHRM CON: Human Factors in Technology! This will be an opportunity to engage with expert speakers, network with fellow HR colleagues and keep up to date on the unprecedented ever-changing landscape in our workplaces.

Over the next two weeks, our Arizona SHRM State Conference Team will be
updating our conference website with all the new and exciting details of our first ever virtual conference! This will be a virtual conference experience unlike any other you have experienced so far, that will include all the same conference aspects that you value (from keynote speakers, breakout sessions, expo hall, networking and the list goes on) to invest in your HR career!

For those who have already registered for the conference as an attendee or exhibitor, the conference team will be reaching out to you the week of June 1st with all the details to discuss your current registration and how it will be impacted. We will also be reaching out to all who have submitted a speaker application with an update.

Arizona SHRM appreciates your continued support of the HR community as we all adapt and embrace change while navigating the Human Factors in Technology! Stay tuned as we look forward to sharing all the details with you soon!
